ORGANIZATIONAL EMPLOYMENT
Services are facility based and are designed to provide paid employment in an environment that can provide accommodations and environmental modifications to improve work skills/habits, work tolerance, and productivity.
A variety of work opportunities allow persons served to achieve desired employment outcomes and a sense of accomplishment through specialized skill development.
COMMUNITY EMPLOYMENT
Services assist a person seeking employment in choosing, obtaining, and retaining integrated employment in the community. Routine follow-up with employers and the person occur regularly to promote continued job success and development of natural supports. Community Employment services may be described as individual placements, competitive employment, supported employment, mobile work crews, and other community-integrated designs.
Services provide job development and initial and ongoing support services to assist individuals to obtain and maintain paid employment in the community. Support services are provided continuously as needed throughout the period of employment addressing issues such as a decrease in productivity, assistance in training new tasks or changes in work schedule, and managing changes in non-work environments that may affect work performance.
